I'm a 42 year old male. I'll be blunt- I'm a fat runner. I've ran for most of my adult life. With the extra weight, I've encountered lots of injuries- plantar fasciitis, sore/tight calves and thighs/hips/glutes.

I bought this massager 2 weeks ago and LOVE it. The only piece I use is the point stick. The others don't get deep in the muscle, which is what I need. The facial massager feature is also useless to me. When I purchased this massager, I was concerned it wouldn't be powerful enough- but once I used it I quickly found out that this is powerful.

It's not perfect- I wish it wasn't cordless. The longest I can use it without noticing the battery drain is about 30 minutes, but it's still a great massager- and I haven't seen another one on Amazon that's better. The face massager part (the other end of the unit) isn't really useful to me either.

But damn, I love when this thing digs deep into my IT band.... god, it feels so good. My wife is tired of me talking about it, but it's such a great massager.

Relief!!!!! My husband has back problems that no one can diagnose or fix, and the only thing that helps us deep tissue massage, but even that only lasts for a few days. This however, really helps like the deep tissue massage but doesn't cost me $65 per use! I too have problems, but with my feet. I have plantar fasciitis in which no doctor can give me relief. I've literally spent thousands on different shoes, orthotics, co pays, injections, stretching devices etc. These things help, but never eliminate the pain. 10 minutes with this massager, and the pain in my feet is gone! It comes back the second I get out of bed the next day, but oh how sweet that relief is when I remember to run this on my feet!! Love love love.
